At age 13, Patrick must leave his bucolic, farming community nestled by the sea. He will travel by himself for two days and two nights in the wilderness. Patrick’s goal is to find his spirit guide who will tell him the secrets to becoming a young man. His adventures will lead him to five challenges that he alone can solve. He must navigate a dark forest, a raging river, a treacherous mountain pass, an impenetrable cave and a magical tower. Along the way he encounters fearsome foes that will determine his fate. In the end, it is Patrick’s strength of character that gets him back home safely.
